This automotive current clamp meter, is a stand alone tool and does not require a multimeter to work. With its autorange and high sensitivity, it allows the measurement of AC/DC currents with a resolution down to 0.1 A, and a maximum current of 1000A, making it ideal for all kind of loads, like electric motors, fuel pumps, charging systems, starter currents, etc. It features a small and narrow jaw, which can accept cables up to 1″ in diameter, but also facilitates its use in confined spaces, wire bundles, and small gauge wires. Other features include up to 1000 Volts AC/DC voltage, resistance measurement functions, continuity test (with buzzer), display hold and peak detector. The unit includes user’s manual, test leads, batteries and a soft carrying/storage pouch.
